you say “I” for me [Possession, 1981]
Cette performance se déroulait sur trois plans activés par la parole et accompagnés respectivement des actions suivante :
1) remplir un verre de glace et d’eau;
après avoir bu un verre d’eau, je décrivais l’encadrement schématique faisant autorité sur l’action devant public.
2) remplir un verre de glace et de gin;
après avoir bu un verre de gin, j’élaborais le plan actif: à l’oral, je décrivais une action que j’avais répété dans mon quotidien préalablement à l’action devant public -- le reenactment, dans ma tête, d’une scène du film Possession [dir: Andrzej Zulawski].
3) remplir un verre de glace et d’alcool à friction;
après m’être versé un verre d’alcool à friction, je décrivais la scène qui avait été reenacted, issue du film Possession [dir: Andrzej Zulawski], une scène lors de laquelle le personnage nommé Anna se tranche la gorge avec un couteau mécanique lors d’une discussion avec son mari sur sa potentielle infidelité, puis panse elle-même sa blessure. Écrasant finalement ma cigarette dans le verre, je ne buvais pas l’alcool à friction.

This performance took place on three levels activated by speech and accompanied respectively by the following actions:
1) filling a glass with ice and water;
after drinking a glass of water, I described the authoritative schematic framing of the action before the audience.
2) filling a glass with ice and gin;
after drinking a glass of gin, I developed the active plan: orally, I describe an action I had rehearsed in my daily life prior to the action taking place in front of the audience -- this daily action is in fact a reenactment, in my head, of a scene from the film Possession [dir: Andrzej Zulawski].
3) filling a glass with ice and rubbing alcohol;
after pouring myself a glass of rubbing alcohol, I described the reenacted scene from the film Possession [dir: Andrzej Zulawski], during which Isabelle Adjani’s character cuts her own throat. Finally, I crush my cigarette into the glass, not drink the rubbing alcohol.
